J. Oscar School of Music is a private teaching studio that is dedicated to providing children and adults with the highest quality individual instruction in music education. Since 2007, we have been offering musical instruction to the greater St. Louis Metro area. We are a Christian based business that values the importance of both a challenging and inspirational environment. We are located at 12165 Bridgeton Square, Bridgeton, MO. Our mission is to provide an encouraging atmosphere that will equip our students with the knowledge they need in order to excel in the field of music. One area that distinguishes us from many other teaching studios is our ability to teach music by ear. Note reading is the standard method of teaching and will always be the fundamental basis for most everything we do. However, being able to incorporate ear training by experienced instructors with a background in Jazz, Gospel, and Blues opens yet another exciting avenue of learning. We push for excellence and love equipping our students with the best resources to help them attain their goals.
